About Us
Younger People with Dementia offers a unique set of services, across Berkshire, to support people, who are under 65 that have been diagnosed with Young Onset Dementia. Most people think that dementia is an older person's disease, however there are 42,000 people under 65 living with this progressive illness across the UK. Many of whom were diagnosed at a time of life when they were still in full time employment, supporting a family and with an active social life. Our support aims to reduce loneliness and social isolation, which many people with dementia experience.
